We would be happy to buy food only with ‘bio’ label or from trusted sellers. Unfortunately, due to cost or other reasons, we are forced to buy food from supermarkets, although we know that often comes from across the world and that is sprayed.
But what if we told you that all pesticides and poisons without problems you can solve yourself at home?
Yes, you can ‘clean’ purchased food, and without any fear to eat at home as if it were from your garden (only might not have the same run). All you need for this little venture is water, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and soda.
What you need to do is: In a small bowl mix a cup of water, a cup of apple cider vinegar, a spoonful of baking soda and two tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix this mixture good, spray it on fruit and vegetables.
Leave the sprayed food to stay like that five minutes, and then rinse thoroughly with water and check if they look clean to you.
The same trick can be used on the herbs, and make sure to wash the stem, if the fruits and vegetables contain one, because the pesticides and bacteria can be transmitted with a knife that was used to cut these foods.
